Hallo there it is me rolling in to 1. say hello (complete (WOO)) and 2. inquire about why you personally enjoy responding to things in character. I have asked around to various people to potentially gain understanding and new viewpoints but for this point in time I suppose I am more curious as to *what* character you are responding in. Persona? mysterious OC? A two-fold version of yourself? 🤔 If the mystery must remain then so be it. I am happy to be here anyways. You ask if we can swim but what about you?? I have always been able to swim underwater (not skillfully, I believe it's purely survival instincts) and never above water. I can doggy paddle and that's about it bruh. Oh that's super concerning cause I have to go to the beach soon : whatever maybe I'll learn. In a salty ocean rather than in a chlorine filled pool. Is he fucked?? is it over?? Hello you. Just a preface, I’m not the bringer of floods, simply a messenger, as Noah was to the antediluvians. My only proclamation is that God is not as forgiving as the masses believe. The floods I speak about are nothing more than a metaphor. You should really learn to swim regardless, mainly avoid embarrassing yourself in front of all those people at the beach, I know that’s why I learnt how to haha. I’d rather die than float around like a jellyfish doing nothing. Hoagie Haven 4 lyfe. [ OOC ] This got a giggle out of me, I’ve seen you on a couple Atabooks and I’m quite honored you’ve graced mine. I’m more than happy to lift the veil on the ‘mystery’, as you put it. To answer your question, I respond in character as a self-indulgence, honestly. The character I’ve attached myself to— and answer as— is called Damsel, better known as Stephanie from everymanHYBRID, a slenderverse media. I wouldn’t call myself a ‘fictkin’ per se, it’s something more profound than that, perhaps a two-fold version of myself that stems from a pre-existing character. Responding in character allows me to present myself as her further, even though I do behave ‘like’ her outside of this space. It also helps me get into a specific headspace and grants me solace from certain aspects of my life, call it what you will, but most of this atabook is just pure escapism on my end. Nothing more honestly. I also want to state the fact that I know that I am infact NOT her, I am not deluded, I have a personality disorder, and struggle greatly with my personal sense of self. Stephanie is the closest I have gotten to a ‘true’ personality by far. The ‘m&ms or hoagie haven’ question is a reference to an ask that Stephanie received on her tumblr blog called CANYOUSEETHEWORDS, in-fact, most of the questions are references to her tumblr.

You’ll be thrown into the cold regardless soon enough, so I’d get used to the water if I were you. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot you could’ve done, he’s been sensitive ever since she’s been gone, so anything could’ve set him off. Ignore him, and it’ll pass. I’ve been managing, not a lot to do these days, endlessly bored. Keep your chin up for me.
